Wooden Bowls Back to Store >
These small paper weight bowls are made from a master wood turner from Portland Oregon, James Piper. He grew up living in the woods and developed a love for trees. As he says, " I find wood turning mersmerizing and mysterious and finds new paths in the grain of the wood.Trees look different to me now. Finding wood is part of the fun, from uprooted orchards or fallen trees, wood that might have been once burned or dumped fascinates me. My job is help a tree live on even when it is uprooted from the earth."
