Shibusa Collection Euro Square Back to Store >
Shibusa is the Japanese word for a particular aesthetic, simple, modest, and unobstructive beauty that is made with fine quality. That definition explains our new collection of Japanese textiles made into pillows, floor cushions, and floor beds by Cloth and Goods. The cotton cloth is woven in Japan on 1950's style shuttle weaving machines. This method gives a nep in the cloth that displays a look characterized by home spun textiles. The dyeing process is organic and made from nature dyes such as indigo, persimmon juice, charcoal, and etc.
